When Morgan Smith, the founder behind Minnow came to me to help brand her new line she was launching, I immediately signed on.
Morgan is the kind of client who has a clear vision, as well as impeccable taste. I love how the branding turned out, and love even more that I get to continue to work with her through seasonal look books, updated packaging, line sheets, and even occasional pattern making.
For Minnow I created a secondary logo, a simplified wave that balanced the playfulness of a children's swim company while staying crisp and clean, true to the Minnow aesthetic. Simple, beautiful swim bags were designed, as well as thoughtful labeling- even down to the care instructions :)

District Mot Kids
District Mot Kids is a Vietnam inspired infant clothing line. Designed in Los Angeles with an homage to Vietnamese style and heritage, we wanted the branding to be edgy, yet approachable and playful.
Inspired by the story of Mimi's (the founder's) story of her parents immigrating from Vietnam in the 1980s, the hand drawn logo and motif mimics that era as well as lends itself to a playful, memorable, asymmetric logo.
The pattern we introduced into the branding is a modern abstract take on the rice fields of Vietnam. All packaged with a fun, modern, unexpected color palette.
I have loved working on this project that pushed me out of the box to create something surprising and fun.

One of my first professional jobs I took on, and also one of my favorite logos I have done. Logo for Ice Castles. The logo mimics the overall shape of the Ice Castle structure with simplicity.
While at Freshly Picked I worked on patterning for products, picking out colors for the moccasin lines, as well as helping to develop new product. Here is a sampling of what I did while there.
